Absolutely wonderful experience. I'm in the middle of filming a documentary and I started getting an acne breakout. It's quite alarming to be a 20-something young professional and suddenly wake up with a pimple, but I called COMO and they took care of it. With just one facial, my *entire* face has calmed down. I'm prone to redness--not rosacea, but redness in general--and I noticed that the genuine care and exceptional service they've provided has taken excellent care of my skin. I'm so grateful for luxury spas in general. I made one horrible mistake a while back trying to skimp on price by going to a ghetto \spa\ and I'm never making that mistake again. Five star girls go to five star spas and salons.

After a misunderstanding I arrived at the Como Shambala to discover my appointment had not been registered. The staff (Corrina I think) were immediately very helpful and shuffled things around so that I was able to receive a massage within 15 minutes of the time I had expected. The massage was of high quality and facilities spotless. I felt very welcome and pampered throughout the whole experience and would not have changed a thing.

Editing review after being contacted for a makeup appointment. Everything was great this time. ---- Massage itself was good and the therapist was friendly and nice but it felt like a rip off. I was given only a 40 minute massage and paid for 60 - 20 minutes went into filling out forms etc. And no I wasn't late, I arrived 6-7 minutes before the scheduled times but was never informed that if they take time filling forms or changing that's all time deducted from your expensive massage. Definitely won't recommend. The receptionist blamed the masseuse and the masseuse the reception when I asked - I think it was the receptionist fault for taking so long. She wasn't the frienliest - not even a smile when you enter the spa. At a place like this you just expect everyone including the receptionist to be happy and atleat smile - maybe she's very overworked so I don't want to make assumptions. But overall disappointed.
