Wonderful.place. lots of open space and interesting things to explore. Loved the animal Welly trail. Friendly staff. We had a great time with the kids. Highly recommend

A lovely place to spend a few hours, very peaceful and beautiful grounds plus the chapel was a highlight. Good picnic and toilet facilities. One point to note, although the venue has a very strict dogs on lead policy there are public footpaths running through the land and people using these paths clearly do not respect these rules, during our walk across Long Meadow we had two separate incidences of dogs running upto our dogs who were on lead in line with the rules
This is a beautiful place, lovely formal gardens, great walks and very good value. Such a shame the house and galleries have to be closed currently, but that's not the fault of Compton Verney. All in all on a sunny day in April, an idyllic afternoon out.
Plenty of space for everyone. Enjoyed the sculpture outdoors. Welcome loos and hot drinks and snacks wagons..
Lovely place to visit and have a walk. If you would like, there is also great place to have a small picnic and enjoy the nice weather.
Another lovely place to visit. The weather was beautiful. We had a picnic by the lake and forgot about all the stuff going on. Sunshine, gentle breeze, perfect.
Beautiful location, cheap if you go more than once a year (grab an annual pass) and there's usually lots going on throughout the year. There's also a small outdoor playground for the kids.
Enjoyed our visit with my family nice walks.
