Highly disappointing. We've always loved this shop and have bought a lot of jewellery from here over the years. Waited outside for 15 minutes to get in due to restrictions which I can completely understand. Then as we were walking through the door, hadnt even had a chance to look at a thing, the woman came over and asked if me and my mum were after something or just looking. I said just looking at the moment as I was not 100% sure what I was going to get having not had a chance to even look and she said \just because I will need to hurry you along as I have customers waiting to collect stuff\. I was actually wanting to buy my mum a ring for Christmas, but honestly after the abrupt way I was approached it really put me off wanting to buy anything at all. We got married on Lake Como in July this year and we purchased some special items from Saunders and Pughe for our wedding. The owners - Marianne and Rob - originally helped us create the most beautiful green Mali garnet engagement ring. They then handcrafted our wedding rings, cufflinks and stunning matching earrings. Beautiful, contemporary but timeless pieces created by the most lovely, patient and knowledgeable people! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for truly unique and special jewellery.
As someone who does not enjoy shopping a visit here is different. It’s made easy and pressure free by happy helpful staff
