Only station can stop and get off if going on Llangollen railway. Only place in Llangollen we were asked to wear mask to go in the shop and restricted amount of people in the shop. Didn't really have time to go into cafe but grandson loved watching the train change track and couple up to other end of train to take us back to Llangollen station. Grandsons first experience on Steam Train and he loved it

Beautiful \halfway\ stop or sometimes end of the line at 'non-peak' times. Limited food & drink available but in Summer months well worth a stop-off and a wander about.
Great little station, nice little steam train ride.
Lovely little railway station with steam train... Choo Chooo!
Carrog Station is set close to the village of Carrog with its 17th century Dee Bridge, river and mountain vistas and traditional pub. It was due to be closed permanently but it was maticulously rebuilt by volunteers, as it was in the 1950. It's fantastic to see the old steam engines still running smoothly and billowing the smoke like the old day. Hhere can be found a place where time has stood still.
