This is my first year being a Costco member I have made several trips and so far all experiences have been good. Sign up process was quick and the staff have been friendly and helpful; my favourite thing being they'll also attempt to find a solution rather than just saying the basic \it's not in stock\. Lots of parking, ques have been long but move quickly, with plenty of space to stay distanced from others once inside. Stock isn't very varied (eg 1 brand of per item, one type of tissue, one type of vinegar). Prices are good but you have to factor in membership costs and number of outings per year. On the fence as to whether I'll sign up again. Costco is a better experience but Makro is free.
Costco is let down by their universally rude and arrogant staff. It's as if these men and women have been specially flown out of UK, trained to provide a rude, unpleasant and smile-free service in line with the Company culture and returned back to UK. The no-nonsense approach to retail clearly works for the Company. Everything else is excellent, hence the 5*
Amazing pricing and unimaginable assortment of products and goods under one umbrella. It is always very fulfilling visiting Costco because they are very economical both monetary and time wise. It's a place I will repeatedly revisit in the future for guaranteed goodnesses!
A great store to shop in. The security checking system is dated and causes long queses. I'd rather pay a little more for a quicker service.
