We had a fantastic short break on the Brecon canal, and will definitely do it again. The staff at Country craft were very friendly and helpful, and as we were Narrow boat virgins they made us feel at home, and took time to explain things to us. The boat was well maintained and very well stocked, the galley kitchen had everything that we needed and much much more. The boat was clean, and very comfortable and made for a very relaxing break. Would definitely recommend Country Craft Narrowboats.

Would highly recommend Country Craft Narrowboats. As novice first timers on a narrow boat, it wasn’t quite a holiday but was an amazing experience. The staff were friendly, informative, helpful and most importantly patient. They assisted us through the first couple of locks ensuring we were confident before letting us loose on the canal. We had a lovely 2 full days of boating up to Brecon and back. The boat was clean, tidy and all the necessary equipment for a self catering stay was supplied also spotlessly clean. Staying in a narrow boat overnight, although bijou, once you got used to it was great fun. We definitely want to do again and maybe next time we will be more relaxed, depending on whose steering.

Great day out with the family, 10 of us with two dogs on the barge.. First time for us all but guided through the locks and taught everything we needed to know before setting off on our own. The staff/owners were very helpful both on the day and with the booking. No one fell in and we all enjoyed lunch on the boat which had everything we needed. Good idea to take your own bottled water and food for the day if pubs closed.
