My family's first ever time on the Isle of Wight was kicked off by looking around the local highstreet popping into shops with the intent to buy locally made products. The first shop we came across was Rosalies of Cowes. We stopped to take a picture of two cushions that were on display on the public street and we were greeted by an aggressive woman with brown hair who barked \ some people would ask before taking a picture\. After being treated worse than her \fresh\ fruit and veg, we swiftly moved on and spent time and money in Staples and Green instead.
Great asset to Cowes High.Street. Lovely hard working and enthusiastic people, a pleasure to shop.
Nice little shop selling island grown products, plus chutneys sauces ect all fresh from the farm.
Lovely food from France and the Isle of Wight, plus a few gifts. There's a great fruit & veg stand outside, and their home-made meringues are terrific.
