I have never done a boot camp and I have certainly never got out of bed willingly before 6am in the morning!!! However John's advert caught my attention and I'm very glad I contacted him. I started feeling incredibly unsure of what to expect but was immediately welcomed and supported to take part. The sessions are accessible for all and carried out in a way that are fun. I have chosen to continue because I am getting fitter and feeling better about myself. I enjoy the sessions because they allow me to feel challenged at an individual level whilst still being part of a very inclusive, friendly group. John is a motivational trainer and has a unique personality which makes the sessions very interesting. He follows them up with videos, posts, etc. which are matter of fact but real, and most certainly inspirational in a way that is achievable by all. A decision very well made and definitely recommended to others!!

I must admit I was very apprehensive when I signed up to John's 28 day Bootcamp plan - not quite sure what to expect and I was absolutely dreading the early mornings (not being what you would call a morning person!!) I am so glad I bit the bullet and did this - and I have also committed to carry on throughout the winter minutes - I love it! All the ladies are so friendly and welcoming, putting you at ease straight away! John gets you through the sessions with his good humour and frank talking. Surprisingly I also love the early mornings - I feel so much better on the days that I do the morning sessions, knowing by 7 a.m. exercise is done for the day and I don't have to think about it - a also raring to go for the day ahead! I am now exercising consistently and am the leanest i have been in years! Would highly recommend!

John really makes you feel welcome at his boot camp sessions right from the first day. The thought of joining a boot camp can be quite scary as you imagine the PT to be shouting at you like someone out of the army, but it’s nothing like that with John. He is friendly and fun, but also makes sure your exercising to reach your own personal goals. The sessions fly by each time and John mixes up the exercises which helps to keep you interested and focused. John has had some of the same clients for over 5 years, so that goes to show how good his sessions are and how well respected he is.

I have been following John’s programme for the last 3 weeks now. During this second lockdown we have been able to do online zoom classes. I have loved doing the 6am work outs as it really sets me up for the day and I am starting to feel a lot stronger and fitter already. I have followed John’s guidance on moving more - getting out for a 30 minute walk every day - and I have been tracking my calories and keeping a journal of my progress. I have lost 10lbs so far, and can see and feel the benefits already. I would highly recommend if like me, you need to some support and a sense of community in the battle for getting your fitness back up/losing weight.
