Crofts Mill junction and canal boat repair yard share a photogenic sector of the Montgomery canal. Nearby is Maesbury town which offers good food and a pleasant drink at the Navigation Inn or Canal Central tea rooms . There are interesting canal walks in both direction, a section to the south of the junction near where it passes under the B4396 road is undergoing restoration. The canal is easy to find its signposted, simply head towards the town of Maesbury Marsh..
