Got a quote to change 6 smoke/heat alarm wireless detectors and 'programming' for more than 3000 pounds inc VAT. When we asked why their prices were so high the engineer said the batteries were 'specially made' and would cost more than 200 pounds each (!!!). I asked for the part number to check the information they are giving me and the Engineer said he was not allowed to give this information or he did not know as the price was set by his office, not by him. Tried to call the office but had no satisfactory response..they just directed me to the same Engineer again. Ended up calling the manufacturer of the alarm who told me the detectors require simple Lithium batteries which cost no more than 15 pounds per pack. Got another company to fit the batteries and test the system and they charged us 105 pounds VAT for the call out...I bought the batteries myself so in total will spend around 300 pounds with parts and labour! Total RIP-OFF!!

I had an issue with a fire alarm, called these guys on the back of a recommendation. The engineers arrived on time, managed to resolve the issue on site, and all throughout head office were in contact to ensure a smooth service. Would definitely recommend!! 10/10

City Fire Pro installed a fire alarm system in our block of flats a few years ago. The servicing of our alarm has been an awful experience; no one from the company responds to emails when there’s an issue with the system. For example, our alarm starting displaying an error message and stopped working on 13th August. I’ve emailed the company on 16/08, 21/08, 29/08, 30/08, 06/09, 10/09, 16/09, 21/09, which have all gone unanswered, except for the Project Manager, who responded on 07/09 saying he’d ensure someone called me. No one has called. I would not put your life or your family’s life at risk by using City Fire Pro; there are plenty of competitors out there- shop around...

Our UK based company CleanSafe Services (UK) ltd has four depots and a head office in the UK. Coulsdon, Birmingham, Manchester and Scotland. City Fire Protection LLP has been providing fire alarm and fire extinguisher servicing plus pat testing at our depots and head office since September 2014. In that time I have never had cause to complain about any aspect of their service. The head office staff are well mannered and efficient if you need to call them. The engineers arrive at site smartly dressed and carry out there work without causing interference to the running of the depots. The engineers are knowledgeable and helpful at all times. With the work carried out in a timely manner. 10 out of 10. I would recommend City Fire Protection LLP to any one.
