I rang up Kinghams of Croydon in mid July 2019 to talk about what I had brooding in my mind. It was Mike Copeman who answered my call. We agreed to meet in his shop. His voice was casual and firm. It was shortly after I came back from Tokyo where I visited one of the show- rooms of Subaru. There a young lady in the sales treated my wife and I very warmly. There was no Forester on display when we got there as it is being sold very fast, but she went an extra way and brought in one from outside where it was raining by way of a lift to the 1st floor show-room to let us see it. It took her quite a bit of time to do it. In his office Mike and I talked mainly about Forester. He was a bit sorry that he did not have a whole lot of things to tell me about Forester E-Boxer, as the model is not arriving until mid November, but he was very frank, obliging, and comfortably casual. He was overlapping in my mind with the young sales lady in Tokyo. At the end of a long chat, I bought a Forester E-Boxer. His execution towards the delivery was short and succinct after the arrival in mid November of the 1st butch of E-Boxers in the UK. Excellent. I visited the service department after I picked up my car at the beginning of December. It was very clean and tidy. Everyone was friendly.
