What a shambles - booked and paid I advance for our daughter's 7th birthday party with a street dancing lesson here at Scream Lounge in Croydon with email confirmation of the booking. When we arrived for the party in the day, they announced that they had double booked and turned us away with no party for my daughter. She was so upset for this to happen in front of all her friends. We had ordered food to bring and had 20 guests due. We were lucky and managed to sort something somewhere else 10 minutes before the party start time. If you are planning a birthday party, do yourself a favour and avoid this venue - so very disappointed!
Been here a handful of times over the last few months for a number of different projects. The rehearsal rooms we used were great - all kitted out with a decent PA and backline. I was quite fond of the blackstars! Happy to help us set up and even ran out to grab some strings for us during our rehearsal. Legends. Studio was cool. Seemed to have a few studios all with mix engineers and mastering guys. They seem to have the knowledge and were a pleasure to deal with. They definitely helped my confidence even though I've been doing this for years! This is now 1 of my 3 studios I will happily go to. Great guys. Great service. p.s. parking was a little tricky but we parked over the road in the car park opposite. It wasn't free but was only a couple of quid or something.
Good music but don't get the spicy megadeth burger.
