Bike chain snapped approx half a mile away close to closing time while still halfway from home. Brought it to Colin who was busy attending to customer orders; but took the time to have a proper look. Then the next day he managed to have new chain and cassette fitted at a very reasonable price with no strong sales pressure, just friendly and honest advice and a first class job. If you are looking for a good bike guy with integrity and sound knowledge I would highly recommend.

I popped in after work having buggered my rear derailleur hanger and I was met with a very efficient and friendly service. They were all too happy help. They seemed like very knowledgeable people. I highly recommend the place.
Just went there to change handle grip on my son's bike, the staff were brilliant..only a few minutes wait and they did it straightaway, very fair price. My son is super happy Definitely recommend Cycle Surgery
Excellent service. Thanks for sorting out my derailleurs. That should have been done by the seller (a different company) but they failed to index them properly before sending the bike to me and the procedure they offered to sort that out was way too complicated. But Cycle Surgery made my day! Definitely will be coming back when I need anything.
Whilst I am happy to say that the staff know their stuff they seemed completely uninterested in my needs or in making a sale. When I asked my questions I got a good answer but that was it. They showed no interest in helping me explore my options. I did buy a bike from them and I'm very happy with it but I cannot recommend them.
Superb and friendly service. Recommend them very highly .
Ordered online and collected from store, this was my first new bike for a number of years and my first ever FS so needed assistance with an explanation of the various features and how to set the bike up. Despite being at least Cytec Level 2 qualified the staff did not have a clue, were unable to answer even the most basic of questions (e.g what is the lever on the rear shock for, how do I adjust brake lever reach, are my wheels tubeless compatable and what do I need to run tubeless, IS THE BIKE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR ME!!!!). The shocks were not inflated and subsequently could have been damaged (rear is making a noise so still could be, currently in with another shop) and despite calling 5 times and speaking to the "manager" and being promised 5 times that they would sort it out I am still waiting for parts that were missing from the bike to be delievered - I have now had to buy them from another shop at additional cost. Extremely dissapointed, I would not use them again, turned what should have been an enjoyable experience into a nightmare that 5 weeks later I am still trying to sort out. Spoke to a "manager" (I'm sure its just the sales assistant again) and he didn't seem bothered, never ring when they say they will.
Friendly helpful staff who are always willing to give advice and help
