Dagenham Dock station is C2C operated train station that runs between Grays and Fenchurch Street in London. It has only two platforms ( 1 and 2 ) platform 1 is for train going towards Barking and Fenchurch Street London, while Platform 2 is for trains going towards Rainham and Gray's. It is a fast train and usually keeps to the schedules. It has accessible entrance but usually requires the station operators or officials guidance. I don't like the staircase used to cross between platforms; it is tiring to climb especially when rushing to catch train.

A fairly adequate station that's located away from the main town area of Dagenham. Facilities are basic and thehe station has ticket barriers and a ticket office but I saw no staff out in the open. Lifts are provided to give step free access to the platforms and to also link the EL2 bus stopping on the opposite side but the lifts were quite dirty with lots of rubbish in them.

The station is ok, but the lady behind the counter is there just to smile. On a rainy day when the ticket machine it didn’t work, I asked her to renew my travel card and she send me to another station. Bad service ...

Twenty years ago this station was vibrant with life from the Ford works in Dagenham and the life in the Marshland. Today we have a massive industrial estate with the A13 highway flowing through it. The major employer, Ford motor cars. Has pulled out with other conpanies slowly buying their land. Its dirty and not a safe place to be at night.
