Such a great butchers, The quality of the meat and flavour is excellent (especially the lamb!) They are not over pretentious and are good fun and down to earth. Unlike the current trend of garden centre hipster butchers charging silly prices!

I visited Daines and Grey in the hope I could find that something special for a meal I wanted to cook for my close friends. I wanted a rib roast and I wasn't disappointed, Andrew showed me 2 peices that I could choose from. I asked about french trim and he did it there and then on a 2 rib joint for me. My friends loved it as did I. But the reason for this review is because of visiting a family style butchers that made that extra effort to welcome me and make a difference when helping select the piece I wanted. I will now make regular visits to Daines and Gray as the experience was refreshing and the meat sold itself. Top marks guys, thank you.
Outstanding butchers with top quality produce. Not just meat either, the eggs and stocks from here are delicious too.
