I have worked at Dane view care home with nursing for nearly 2 years. I'm a hca with over 20 years experience in the care sector the home wen i first started to work at dane was lovely but sadly since new management has taken over its gone down hill in my opinion with having worked in over 16 nursing home over the years .sadly this home is a beautiful home but need a manager that has the experience the home really needs ! As i feel staff with very little experience & no nvqs behind them are promoted to senior level which in my opinion is very wrong.

I worked at daneview for near on a year, after working within the care industry 20 years, at the age of 16 I got my first ever care job which was in the building of daneview now, it was called st.Catherine’s back then, not only is daneview a beautiful building, the way the staff practise equality/diversity, offer choice, practise dignity and respect, the management team are amazing, due to some personal health reasons of my own, I wasn’t working there long and had to have quite a lot of time off, due to these reasons, management team were very understanding, offered support throughout my whole ordeal, I’ve always said I’d never put my father in a care home due to me having all the care experience I have but having said that if for whatever reason I had to place my dad in any care setting I would only ever chose daneview. THANK YOU to the management team for all the support you have given to me and the opportunity of working for you, and being apart of the daneview family
I have been out of work for 17 years and come October 2019 I applied for a job at Dane view, I then started working at Dane view care home with nursing. Ever since I’ve started working at Dane view I’ve been made to feel like very welcome and it just one big happy family. The residents are a pleasure to look after. I love working there has it gives me something to get up for.

Dane View with Nursing, An outstanding, beautiful and remarkable place. It is spacious, spotlessly clean and filled with ambience. The CQC inspection, took place in July 2019, when there was a newly appointed manager, just days into the job. The report published on 30th August 2019, does not currently reflect this wonderful Care/Nursing Home. The new manager is very professional, approachable and enthusiastic. Already we have seen an increase in quality Nursing staff and Care/Support workers. Activities are also increasing to help the residents feel more engaged. This is a positive step. Our mother was admitted to Dane View in August 2019. She has Advanced Alzheimer's Disease. The standard of care has been exceptional. We acknowledge the great efforts and length's that staff members go, to ensure that our mother is safely and properly cared for. She is treated with kindness, dignity and respect. Concerns have always been addressed swiftly and professionally by the clinical team, which is comforting and reassuring! Eating is very difficult for my mother. Finding foods that she can manage, has been a challenge, but the chef has always been helpful and caters for her individual needs. My family and i would like to express our sincere gratitude, to all the staff at Dane View Care Home. You are a fantastic team. Keep shining! We would highly recommend Dane View Care Home with Nursing. It has overwhelmingly fulfilled our expectations. Thanks again.
