Small shoot with reliable clays. The staff however pace up and down the path making sure people aren’t using too many clays. I have had staff make comments to me about this more than once, even though I purchased the correct number of cartridges from them when I purchased the clays! After the second comment, I decided not to go again.

Overall we had a good experience except for the initial reception by a very unpleasant lady at reception. Shooting wise we were on a taster session with Andy who was great. Welcomed us and made sure we were well prepared and estimated our level of shooting perfectly and tailored the day for us. We had a great time and he really improved the way we shoot. We came here on my father's birthday and this was the second time. Upon reception we were accused by the receptionist of missing our slot (of 10am) as we were apparently 30 mins late. Fortunately, Andy said it's all ok and he would help out. In actual fact we were 30 minutes early and upon confronting the woman an hour later after the session with the email, she responded that she didn't know who we were and has never seen us before. I hope this does not happen to anyone else as this was the only thing to dampen our day.

I tried clay shooting and archery which were both great. The rifles are perfect for begginers, they're quite light and don't have much kickback. The bows also weren't hard to use, although the string will hit your forearm and it will leave bruises if you're not protected. Danny showed me how to use both the rifle and the bow, he was great and he will explain everything you need to know. The people are very welcoming, and the food is amazing for a good price.
