I have been using a Fein Multi-cutter for 9 years, based on its reliability I started replacing my battery drill/drivers and additional multi-cutters to Fein 3-4 years ago and they are still faultless. I have had Makita, Bosch, Metabo, Milwauke, Hilti and some DeWalt over the last 20 odd years as an Electrical Contractor. From personnel experience (with the exception of Hilti) all of them seem to have a life time average of 2-3 years of daily use, some even less before things start to fall apart or completely fail! It is easy to register for 3 Year extended warranty for peace of mind and good quarterly promotions on their UK Website. Wish id realised earlier Fein did more than just Multi-cutters - quality design, build, performance for daily site use, a fantastic tool manufacturer.

I switched to Fein tools earlier this year and just WOW! Always used Snap on, Bosch and Makita previously and am pleasantly surprised at the difference. Looking forward to using more in the future
Very smooth, well-balanced, powerful, low-vibration tools. I have Bosch and Makita too, but Fein is significantly better.
Have had two multi tools they have been great. Based on this I bought a dustex extractor big mistake. The machine is certainly not industrial quality and failed after a few months. When it was returned I was treated with contempt by the service department. Blaming me for the issues with the machine which was clearly not fit for purpose.
