Overheard a personal trainer at the gym speaking to a colleague about a client (another gym member) and laughing at how she couldn’t use the equipment properly and do wasn’t able to do push ups. Saying how terrible she looked, and they both found it hilarious. Yikes, made me feel so uncomfortable ever working out there. Reported it to a receptionist who raised her eyebrows at me when I was telling them, as if I was in the wrong for complaining.

Pool was fine, changing rooms were OK. Shower in the changing rooms were OK but many of them didn't have any soap left. The reason ro the 2 stars is the terrible terrible restaurant/cafe. The people are nice and friendly but they didn't have half of the food and drink options on the menu, so they kept having to come back to let us know and change our choices, multiple times. The food is expensive and totally not worth the price. The additional chips I ordered were forgotten about until I reminded the staff. The item I ordered was a chicken, bacon and avocado flat bread which is a lighter option. At 6.95 you get a single sad rasher of bacon a small amount and avocado and the more atrophied chicken breast iv seen, all accompanied by a tiny splat of mayonnaise. Overall I will not be utilising the restaurant again as this is the 3rd time I have been severely disappointed.

Joined her a fortnight ago, what a great place! Mainly using the gym and indoor pool, lovely clean facilities with friendly staff. Often find in the pool I have a whole lane to myself after 7.30pm. A little more expensive than most gyms but the friendly non-intimidating environment is worth it.

Don't recommend trying to go in the pool when it is busy with families as it is impossible to socially distance. The gym was lacking blue roll to wipe equipment with.

Trying to start back after the lock down and most of my classes have disappeared, the older demographic have been let down too. They haven't taken back the most professional instructor and favoured younger less experienced instructors. It's just left me with very few classes I can do. David Lloyd you could do so much better. I used to love my classes.

Great gym facilities and particularly good for Yoga. Their group exercise is not what it was. They seem to be running down their HIIT classes deliberately so that they don't compete with their own Blaze, which they want to use to recruit premium members. Trouble is, they don't have a premium product. Anyone interested in a good group exercise offer would be better off joining one or even two far cheaper competitors with greater choice and better classes!

I visited the club with my friend Leigh Catherine who is a member. I really enjoyed my visit. The pool and gym were fabulous. I really enjoyed myself. Had a lovely lunch in the restaurant too . Highly recommended. Will definitely visit again next time i am in Cardiff.
