Wow, beautiful space. Felt like a modern design museum. Beautiful, just beautiful. I didn't know David Mellor designed everything in the photograph! Amazing!

Staff are always friendly and welcoming. They take time to chat, both in the cafe and design shop which for us is an essential part of the service. The food is excellent and served with style. We have spent many hours in the shop "just looking" but over the years have bought many kitchen necessities which last forever. Factory tours are very hands on and each guide brings their own viewpoint on the tour. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful place in the heart of the peak district. The roundhouse is an amazing building showcasing the work of David Mellor. Lots of lovely things to buy or drool over, classic everlasting design. British design and manufacture at its best.

Absolutely stunning high quality ceramics, cutlery & tableware. Note that free tours only run at 3pm on the weekends. Lovely little cafe with some fantastic exhibits. Staff are really helpful in the shop and will ensure your know everything about the designer, the material, how to care for your items & wrap them well to safely transport home.

Always enjoy a visit here although am missing cafe. Bought a couple of items. Now ready to chase those spiders with my new feather duster.

Wonderful and creative shop lay out. Didn't have everything we went for in stock (otherwise a 5) but the staff were fantastic, really helpful and went above and beyond.

Great shop and workshop, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the products look amazing! We bought a set of their rise wood handle knives and are super happy with them.

Love the round building unfortunately thanks to Covid-19 not a lot going on but the Design Museum is worth a visit the staff are friendly enough, since I am in the trade, I felt a bit lacking of the knowledge of the heritage and knew nothing about the Buffer Girls or even Diamonds in Brown paper by Gill Booth 2 different books plus a short film, I found very interesting and I recommend all staff to read, not my book I hasten to add!
