Used to visit he place when it was Spice Aven, now & again. returned for the 1st time in about 10 years recently. Only just opened & although they seem to be finding their feet. The service and more importantly the food was excellent. Proper punjabi cuisine, with each dish having its own flavour and not the generic stock sauce used for every dish. A large party of meat & veg eaters, and they catered for both well. The veg dishes were excellent & in particular the veg sizzler. One of the best authentic meals i have had. Very reasonably priced and you have the option to buy drinks there or take your own, which is great, so no real nasty surprises at the end when you get the bill, more of 'is that all?' Will certainly be back, and wish the new owners all the best
Didn't expect much of this place at first. Seemed very quiet. But food was very good standard, excellent value and service courteous. Would go there again if I'm in that neck of the woods again.
