A small and educational farm for children and family outings, with a good sized child's play area, a neat outdoor garden area and outside seating for enjoying the fresh air during the warmer months, for a family or group picnic, whilst watching some horse riding, in an enclosed area. I didn't know how to get to the farm area so just took photos of the area near the cafe, at the entrance. The entrance is free but a 2 donation to the charities they support are highly recommended. An excellent city farm to encourage children to appreciate the outdoors and animals.

Very friendly staff and a fun way to spend time with the family. Kids can see many types of animals and play at the small park. We love dropping by whenever we have time.

Went today with my children. We love the place and my kids love feeding the animals. I just feel in this very difficult time for everyone deen farm could do better regarding the way the flow of visitors is. There is only 1 way system around the building area and it works quite well but when you are on the field to see the bigger animals and want to feed them it is a bit wild. Everyone go everywhere with no social distancing at all. No one from the farm is actually out. No one checking. I understand visitors should be able to dobit themselves and keep distancing between each other but not every one is doing it and it is a bit frustrating. It should be some single way path like near the building. They should put marks on the floor where to stand while feeding the animals to keep a minimum of social distancing and maybe introduce a maximum time you can stay on 1 spot . I feel a bit disappointed about this. I feel something better could be done.

Brilliant little unexpected farm in the city... my kids loved it and the tour it short enough so they don't start getting bored. will consider in the future also for the horse riding lessons but need to wait till they are 8 at least... PS never seen a rooster like the one in the pic - impressive creature!

Lovely farm and just a place to chill where the plants are if you like animal's and nature. Kids can learn lost of things about animals here and can also feed some. There is also a riding school - horses are beautiful. If you get hungry or just fancy a cuppa you can also buy something inside the coffee shop. Entry to the farm is free. If you want to feed the animal's you have to pay for the food.

3rd birthday party - Success and everyone had a great time. All the parents even commented what a great place to have a birthday. I got to the room early to set up before all my guests arrived but found it was already done. All I did was set up the cake table. Was so quick and easy. There was more than enough food - along the kids table was 3 types sandwiches on platters and 20 kids lunchboxes which was filled with a juice, pom bears, a chocolate and jelly. And cupcakes in the middle. Really impressed with the amount of food provided for the kids. I also liked the fact it was one big table so everyone was together instead of separate tables. We were then called for the pony rides which most of the children enjoyed. A few were too scared to go but the ones who loved it, got to have a second ride. Next was animal encounters which was great and then the children got a chance to feed the animals with the feed provided (there was more than enough to go around) Then it was time for lunch and cake. Before we knew it, 2 hours was up and party was over. Was a great morning. Only thing I would suggest is that they would allow a 3 hour party so it is not so rushed. Also, to update your website saying that no balloons are allowed. I did not know this so had already paid for balloons which went to waste.
