Updated August 2020 This was the second post-lockdown takeaway, and both were very poor. Whilst the food was of a high temperature (plus-point) the curry was watery, and the rice and naan were greasy and flavourless. Not recommended. However the review from a year ago was very different: Excellent! Delicious, flavoursome Indian food. Consistently good, and highly recommended.

Huge variety in choice (maybe too much as you can get lost in what to have). Staff are very friendly and quick. Large portions for the main meal and naan breads. Small starters which weren't exactly brilliant in taste. I'm giving it 3 stars because the food as a whole was alright, but nothing outstanding for our party of 4. It was missing the wow factor we expected from the menu descriptions.

My latest visit was to collect a takeaway, it had been ordered and I was told it would be ready to be collected in half an hour. Just enough time to get there to collect. Yep, perfect timing, discount applied and on getting home I had a beautifully cooked meal, just as good as what I had in the restaurant the last time I was there. Keep up the good work and I'm already planning my next visit. sorry no photos this time, I ate my food that quickly that I forgot to take any Edit for a more recent visit. Having ordered a chicken tikka masala, mushroom rice and a garlic naan. I got it home and discovered that the curry was duller red in colour than usual. On tasting it I was surprised at how hot the curry sauce was, the level of spice was by far hotter than I have ever tasted. It left me sweating while I ate it. Unfortunately I wasn't able to contact them to return it as I was due out shortly after. I don't know what has happened at Delhi 41 but I will be thinking twice before going there for my next chicken tikka masala take away. The same night I woke up on multiple occasions feeling sick and I fully believe that it was the over spiced curry a tikka masala is meant to be a mild curry. I've always had a good meal from here, I hope that they can get back to how they were in the past.
