Great alternative to 7 Stanes only 30 minutes from Glasgow. Short but exciting descents especially Runway. More suitable for experienced riders with proper MTBs. You'll probably need a few laps to make the most of the descents. Definitely retuning soon.

A really nice walk - there are lots of options path-wise, and the walk can be as long as you want it to be. The water-side path has lovely views, but there's also quite a substantial forestry road by the side of the reservoir, which is perfect for a distanced walk.

Great set of trails for all abilities. There's normally a van with great hot chocolate drinks for a warming drink afterwards. Most users are very friendly and helpful towards 1st timers, so do not be shy just ask. Oh some cracking views from up towards the high runs.

Nice walking and mountain bike trails in the woodland. Car park is paid, toilets are available. Even a coffee van in car park. Some nice views over the reservoir.

Great place for walking and cycling, (MBT) tracks and other forest tracks along lochside and into trees or over to meikle bin for a great view.
