Very good value hotel. Easily accessible and safe secure parking Slightly smelly corridors, however upon arriving at our room it was no longer noticeable. Our room was very clean and surprisingly good for the money. Our biggest letdown was the WiFi speed was abysmal. Speeds were never higher than 0.6 Mb/s, averaging 0.4Mb/s or 0.05MB/s. Web pages have difficulty loading.

It's a reasonable chain hotel and usually excellent value. Don't, whatever you do, buy direct from them. I was quoted 79 on their website, but a couple of clicks got me the room for 48. The WiFi access is ridiculously expensive at 4.95/HR or 12.95/24hr

AVOID AVOID !!! Terrible Took unauthorised money from my account after departure !! We arrived to be told that our smoking room wasn't available by a paritulary snotty receptionist and that late check out was an unknown for some reason A different member of staff later on in the evening seemed to know all about it funnily enough We then stayed the night (going out for cigarettes as our room and booking was a complete sham) Then after our departure the following day I notice an unauthorised payment of 25 I called the hotel at 830 pm to speak about this only to be told that the manager had taken a photo of a pop bottle containing a cigarette end and the room smelled of smoke I was told I would be called back by the manager the following morning (which I didn't I had to call him myself ) He then went on to tell me that there was no photo and the only proof was his nose ? And that he had closed a number of rooms due to the same on our corridor but could still tell it was our room somehow We drove 50 miles from Wolverhampton to stay here just for the smoking room and was our second stay in the hotel Wouldn't stay there again complete joke robbing managers that are unreasonable and unrealistic And then the room (A NO SMOKING ROOM) The floor was covered in cigarette burns and the shower was pathetic Also the handwash in the bathroom was full bit the dispenser didn't work (didn't they check when filling ?) AVOID AVOID unless you have more money than sense
This hotel is filthy! ...every floor, door, wall, and surface is dirty and stained.. The receptionist had a tantrum when we tried to check in as we had booked online and it was obviously too much trouble to check bookings in their online system.. The hotel group that runs this filthy nasty hotel should be ashamed of this place.. I certainly won't be in a hurry to stay in a Days Inn again!
