Sallyanne does amazing work and her passion and love for hedgehogs knows no bounds. I've just brought home the second hedgehog that she has looked after for me - one a juvenile that was too small to survive winter on its own and the other an adult with a respiratory infection. Thanks to the dedication of people like Sallyanne, this country's hedgehogs stand a better chance of avoiding extinction. Thanks for everything you do, Sallyanne.

The lady is fantastic and so caring. She even rang us with an update on the boy hoglets. They are doing so well. Please place shallow dishes of water in shaded spots in the garden to help them, Thank you

I cannot emphasise enough how wonderful Sallyanne is. I called her up about a poorly hedgehog my flatmate and I had found a couple of nights before, and she immediately told us to bring him in. When we arrived, she knew within a second of looking that he had poorly feet, that he was a little boy, and what she should do next. She also gave him a name- Monk!- and gave us a hedgehog home to take back for a garden (for other hedgehogs), completely free, AND called us the next day to let us know how Monk was doing and how he'd fared during the night. She is clearly so wonderful, so kind, and so knowledgeable about all things hedgehog, and simply just cares so much for these little creatures that it radiates off of her. She is wonderful, and has saved so many little hedgehogs' lives.

I felt very confident leaving the poorly little hog we found at the allotment in the capable hands of Derby Hedgehog Rescue, great to hear the updates of the progress of the hogs in SallyAnne's care too.

TRACEY CRUISE

Found a hedgehog meandering across my road very slowly yesterday tea time, so stopped traffic (as you do), helped her across the road but she seemed lethargic. Rang Sallyanne who advised me to bring her straight away... this lady, words fail to describe her love and passion for these beautiful creatures. She quickly scooped the lady hog up and put her into a heated blanket, and asked for my contact details. Rang me later than evening to confirm her findings. she assured me all would be well and that as soon as fit as a fiddle would be released again. We need to appreciate this lady, absolutely wonderful, her passion and care is second to none. May long she continue to care for our beautiful hedgehogs.
