This place is a lovely little independent business that really does put out the best burgers you are likely to taste......the onions rings really are epic.....I don’t know where they find onions big enough. Also just experienced the Sunday Roast Beef which was also excellent. Highly recommended.

As you would expect it's a great place for a burger... It's more than that though, it's modern, light and airy. Good and interesting choice of beers including some Craft ales. The coffee is lovely and in the daytime it's a good place to people-watch with the busy market place a stone's throw away. Enjoy. M
Only just finished my order but wow all I will say is I hope people stop messing about eating at McDonald's and order once a week from here. Had the Korean Chicken Burger with hide fries and it's an absolute winner. Keep great businesses like this going rather than multi nationals. What they do they do really really well
Went yesterday at 2pm, we ate from the brunch menu, me and the mrs both had the buttermilk fried chicken burger. Best chicken burger I've ever eaten. The skin-on rosemary fries were awesome as well. Would definitely go again for the full burger menu.
No word of a lie this is the best burger I've had. Period. Their menu is simple yet effective, showing that really a burger bar can be successful with a menu that, whilst small, offers absolute perfection in terms of quality. Their portion sizes are spot on, offering up a good sized burger in brioche with a portion of skin on home made fries. Upgrade to their fired fries for a smidgen more and you've got the best Cajun spiced fries I've ever tasted. Their selection of sides is fantastic, again offering substantial portions versus cost. Overall the price is steeper than some competitors versus size, but frankly HIDE burger bar deliver the level of quality far above that of other burger bars in derby. I highly recommend booking, as the bar is small and has a great atmosphere, and is generally busy even midweek. A must try if you are in the area!
