Hobby ambergate have been absolutely fantastic and I cannot recommend this company enough.they do stock very lovely quality caravans and upon arrival we was shown around various vans from a very lovely lady called Lesley without all the useul pressure from your average pushy sales person.she was very knowledgeable and friendly and had all the time in the world for us to answer all of our questions.allthough we didn't find the model we wanted here we did buy a van elsewhere on the second hand market but Lesley helped me all the way with that untill we found what we was looking for talking through the dos and donts what to look for and things to check ect and thanks to all her help and nowledge over the phone we now have the van we have always wanted so thank you Lesley.also i want to personally thank ross from ambergate hobby who spent a good 45 minutes of his own time to give me a full run down on how to operate our new van he was very patient and his knowledge of all hobby caravans and maintenance and how to operate them is outstanding.they have a great well equipped shop and after ross helped me over the phone after closing hours , he had just what I was looking for.great company that go above and beyond.

Great place for spares for my motorhome. The chap behind the counter is always very helpful.
Having read the reviews I can only imagine the helpful staff others had dealt with were on leave. I rang today to explain I had been sold the wrong antifreeze for our central heating system as advised by a fully qualified plumber and asked if we could return it. The guy who answered was very rude and said no. Definitely wouldn't recommend, unless the more helpful staff were on duty!!!
Fantastic service, came for a part for our Hobby and ended up with a new caravan!!! Yes they show you around the vans but definitely not pushy just protecting their investment from getting damaged!!!! We were on holiday when we visited but when the time comes to get another van it will definitely be from here again, yes the vans are expensive but you get what you pay for and German vans are far superior. Thank you Ambergate 5stars from start to finish!
Great service and excellent German caravans. Think British Leyland vs Mercedes...you get the idea.
