Hiring scooter does take a little bit of time. A company is not going to take your money and drop of a scooter. You need to prove you have a licence, set up the insurance (they pay) and arrange a delivery. This is not a drive in an rent a scooter at short notice unless your lucky. I think it is aimed at people needing longer rental periods. If your looking for work or need the relaxation of the complete package and security that if your bike breaks down your getting a replacement quite fast this is for you. The younger you are the more this rental agreement will suit you. As an oldie and renting a 125 Honda I am guessing it would be far cheaper for me to buy a scooter and pay 50 for fully comp insurance. A youngster would be facing much larger bills. Another bonus is you got support for any issues and all services are free. no going without bike. You need a service they bring you another bike. The lady who delivers the bike is very friendly and helpful. All my questions were answered. On delivery you get paperwork to sign and bike is photographed. they email you the pics too. make sure you return it the way you got it. I am unsure how they deal with wear and tear and minor cosmetic scuffs. A chain lock is supplied and I recommend you buy a d lock for front wheel too. Bike is not covered for theft. Keep it safe. In summary I do find they don't answer the phone like you would expect, and it goes to voicemail. They call you back asap or reply to Facebook messages. i am not reviewing the motorbike here. Its great and brand new. done 600 miles on it. For a company in this day and age they are far superior to most. They are not a faceless company. They care that your satisfied. read all the documentation, ask questions before you sign up and all is good. there are no surprises if you read and are aware of what your signing for. In general a top company.

Hired a 110cc from them and can not fault them at all. Great customer service, the driver that dropped the bike off was very helpful and informative and the bike was amazing. Smooth, easy to drive, very quiet and sleek! 100% would recommend amazing bikes for a decent price

Hired a 125cc bike from them for a month and had no problems. Sadly I couldn’t ride the bike as much as I wanted because I have been furloughed. I called them to see there was anything they could do and I got a partial refund due to not using the bike for some of the time I had it. I can not recommend them enough great service and friendly staff.

Unfortunately my bike broke down but Scoots hire came to my rescue. With lockdown happening I was at a bit of a loss. Received great service and was pleasantly surprised that they offered me a discount as I’m a nurse. Really grateful to the extra effort that was made to get the bike to me ASAP. The bike is great too. Big thumbs up from me, would recommend

READ ALL BEFORE RENTING!!!!! So I rented a bike for around a month drop off was as expected and all was fine until I called for the bike to be picked up, I was made to wait 8 days I live in central Cambridge. No chance of any refund for days I did not need the bike is what they were trying achieved, I was even fine with that but then the day of collection I was told they can not make it as the driver finishes work at 5pm so I would have to rearrange. THE NEXT DAY I AWOKE TO A 50 INVOICE FOR KEYS AND THE MOTORBIKE HAD DISSAPEARED FROM MY PROPERTY AND MY BELONGINGS THAT WERE LOCKED UNDER THE SEAT WHEN THEY DID NOT EVEN BOTHER TO RING ME!!!!!!!! STAY WELL AWAY FROM THESE COWBOYS THEY WILL TRY ANYTHING TO AS MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE OUT OF YOU!!!

really friendly and helpful, dropped a scooter off at my workplace at very short notice and collected it from my house when I wasn't there because it made it easier for me, nice little bike too! I've used them a couple of times, would definitely recommend if you want to rent a scooter
