I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone to book a session with Alex for the scar tissue release treatment I have had. The subtle yet potent technique has radically changed the entire profile of my knee, the skin is far more supple now and with a much healthier and less angry colour. The treatment is also very gentle and relaxing, often inducing a power nap state. I have a lot of scar tissue on my knee and I am so glad I found Alex, the treatment has had a positive effect on the way I walk. Now that the tightness around my knee muscles has relaxed I am walking more efficiently and smoothly. This has also enabled me to carry out my physiotherapy exercises more effectively and build the balance muscles. I would urge anyone with scar tissue to see Alex as this treatment could fix the root cause of an issue you may have, due to our bodies connectedness, this releasing effect can be profound in the context of your entire body. Also there is Alex herself, her emotional intelligence, empathy and kindness will allay any fears you have concerning your scar. The discussions we had really put me at ease and I processed some of the issues I had with my scar. This is the mental release side of the treatment. I know there all sorts of emotions and sensitivity attached to scars , mental and physical. The location of mine is in a less sensitive area of my body, but I would urge anyone to face their fears regarding this because you are in such safe hands with Alex and the reward was massive for me.and will be for you.

I have had very successful soft tissue massage therapy for chronic back and elbow pain. Alex is very knowledgeable, professional and empathic. She treats the whole person, amazing results. I would highly recommend The Restoration Room!
Alex has been giving me Soft tissue Therapy Remedial massage for neck and hip pain. She lives in a beautiful property with a very well equipped therapy room and plenty of room for off road parking. She is very personable and immediately makes you feel very welcome and at ease. As soon as you talk to her, you immediately get the feeling that she is very professional and knowledgeable and I very quickly became confident in her abilities. Alex starts off with a very thorough consultation to understand the nature of the issues and relevant history. She reinforces this by asking you to perform various manoeuvres and puts measures in place to monitor your progress. She also discusses what will be covered during the session. During the therapy it soon becomes obvious that she knows exactly what she is doing, quickly forms a plan and is also quick to revise it is doing as necessary. She is very attentive throughout, takes great pains to ensure you are comfortable at all times, assesses your pain levels constantly and explains what she is doing and how it will benefit. I have found the therapy very beneficial and am getting a lot more movement back in my neck and the pain has greatly reduced. I have also noticed a great reduction in the pain in my hip. Sessions are unrushed and Alex ensures that she gets through her treatment agenda. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Alex to my friends, family and colleagues and am very glad to have found her.
I have had both Reiki and Reflexology with Alex after going through a stressful time and found both very relaxing and comforting. Alex is very easy to talk to and will spend time discussing any issues you may have and will offer very helpful suggestions and advice. The treatment room is very tasteful and comfortable. My very first visit to The Restoration Room, was to start a course of soft tissue massage, for an injury I had sustained through gym exercise.. a very warm welcome by Alex, immediately set me at ease & my first session, overwhelmingly profound.. I felt emotionally open & physically at peace. The techniques Alex uses & the calm in which she uses them, seem to create an internal osmosis, now after my third session with Alex, I now see the first as a type of conditioning, for the now treatment Alex has started to engage, at the begining, the pain started to shift, now it is starting to deplete.. I will continue to visit The Restoration Room, & continue the therapy Alex provides, for the core changing physical benefits, but also for the emotional language that has equivocally aided my recovery.
