Ordered the etched slate door sign. I was disappointed when it finally arrived to find that the slate was markedly flawed which meant that the writing was ruined. I contacted them a few times to then be told that they were unwilling to replace it with one that was to the standard shown on the website. If you want a nice bit of smooth slate don't bother buying from this supplier as you'll be disappointed!!

Recently purchased an etched slate sign to point the way to our front door. The website showed examples of this product which looked attractive with bright white text on a grey/green slate. The website also described the precise laser etching process used. When the sign arrived I was very disappointed. There appeared to be no sign of any etching and the text was a shade of grey that appeared to be sprayed on to the slate. Because of the slates colour there was little contrast with the text. Subsequently I discovered tucked away in their terms and conditions relating to returns they mention text can be anywhere between off white and grey thus covering themselves regarding returns or refunds. To my mind this is an important issue and good business practice would be to include this fact in the etching process description at the front end of the website not tuck it away in terms and conditions. I emailed the company regarding my disappointment but received no reply. The costly sign is destined for the bin and I have ordered another from yoursigns.com. A superior product and one that matches the product shown on their website. This company also send you mock up for approval before proceeding with manufacture. I attach a photo of the binned sign.

Using the website to design my house sign was very easy and gave a great choice. The price of the sign was shown at every stage of the process so I always knew what the price was before the end. Delivery was rather quick considering we are in the middle of a pandemic. Installing the sign was rather easy but some instructions would also be helpful. The sign looks great and I'm very pleased with how it turned out.
