Shameful of me to say that having lived here all my life, my boys and I have only just ventured on this beautiful, historical walk. The boys were so surprised at the size of Din Lligwy and explored and discussed every nook and cranny of the place. Stunning views to sit and bask.

Amazing ruins of a tiny village from the Roman era. Just a 5 minute walk from the road along a path across a field and a few steps. Had the place to ourselves!
Lovely quiet place, to connect with your self
This place is truly enchanting. Great free day out if you take a picnic. We took our two kids (2 year old & 6month old). There are three gates that u need to navigate that are not pram friendly (single or double like ours), so be prepared to collapse pram and decant kids . There is a chapel visible from the road, but the best bit is hidden on top of a tree lined hill. If this was in England there would be a National Trust Kiosk making you pay to see this!
A short walk through a field past an ancient church brings you to this hidden Pre Roman villiage site. This place is enthralling and full of atmosphere. Sign boards help to fill in the story of this iron age settlement. Children enjoy exploring and games of hide and seek amongst the stones while others prefer to sit awhile and let the atmosphere speak.
