Chris came in and did a fantastic job fitting my new windows. A quick, clean and well put together job. Excellent value for money, no hard selling and will definitely go back to him again in the new year to get a new door fitted. Highly recommended!

Chris the fitter seemed like a nice genuine tradesman when he came out to install our upvc door until we started to encounter issues due to the way it had been installed. From the first day the door seal on the bottom was rubbing against the threshold on one side suggesting something wasn't level, however when the concern was raised Chris quite simply brushed it off by stating it would settle in the next few weeks resulting in the door operating normally without the friction. However with the door no better a few weeks later (the rubber seal had been pulled off on the one side by now due to the way it was rubbing on the bottom) I got in contact with Chris who came out and adjusted the door and glued the rubber seal on, believing it would resolve the issue but at the same time suggested we should contact him again if it needed further adjustments. As before the rubber seal began to pull off from the door and I therefore contacted Chris again. After several phone calls the issue remains with Chris agreeing to visit on two different occasions but failing to attend on the first time and date given and then the second time and date. I'm now being told a call out charge will apply for the door to be adjusted, even though the issue relates to the way it was installed in the first place. Without being given the opportunity to contest his refusal to correct the installation issue I was cut off with several calls since not being answered. At the time of this review the door was installed less than 7 months ago, therefore surely there should be a 1 year warranty on the installation itself? I will be speaking to trading standards and reporting direct fit windows and doors.
