Visited on Halloween, spent an hour exploring and listening to the howling wind. Very atmospheric. If you love castles and great views its a fab place to visit. The exhibition is worth a visit too and the cappuccino was welcome as we ended our exploring.

A pleasant visit. Parking nearby - chargeable but cheap. Not on-site though Semi-ruined small castle but with an excellent condition, well restored main tower / keep. Well worth a visit and climb to the top for the excellent views Don't forget the ancient nearby church too
Lovely place to visit, great ruined castle, amazing views. However would not recommend to people with walking/mobility issues as to get the best out of your visit involves alot if steps. Parking is not on site, but street parking is close
Great place to walk, sightseeing, local history temporarily closed due to covid-19
Lovely little castle to visit. Not a huge site, you'll get through everything in under an hour, but a nice site to explore. The design and build of the keep is particularly impressive!
