Jon fitted my wood burning stove about 6 weeks ago. I found the whole experience fantastic. He was efficient, a clean swift worker, and substantially less than the other quote I was given by a local rival firm. From initial quote to installation took about 2 weeks. I would recommend Dorset Fire and Chimney without hesitation. Excellent work.

Friendly and knowledgeable office staff in the shop organised a visit from Jon the stove fitter (who also owns the shop). Jon was very helpful and able to advise as to a suitable wood burner for our living room. Very satisfied with the service received and would certainly recommend. Not sure about the previous reviewers complaint about the dogs, they seemed pretty friendly to me!

They get one star for actually coming out to look at the job. We were told we would get a quote within 2 days, 2 weeks later still no quote, rang to ask why, lady who answered didn't know as she had been on holiday but said it would be sent out that day, still no quote, so emailed them to say if there was a problem please let us know, we then got a message to say they couldn't do it after all and gave me another number to ring, wasted nearly 3 weeks of our time when we could have got on with finding someone else to do it, if you can't do a job just let people know.
