Absolutely amazing, I'm in no way a train enthusiast but I was very impressed with not only the friendly, enthusiastic staff (who clearly love volunteering here) but also the museum of old railway cars and a vast amount of information & pictures about railways in Northern Ireland. The short train journey was great - the steam train made it. Young & old will love to visit.
My son is autistic and loves trains. We had a lovely time here at Easter. We will definately be back

Amazing collection of beautiful classic carriages and steam engines
Brilliant. Free train ride. Excellent museum and beautiful abbey. The kids loved dressing up and going on the trains.
Great wee family day out. Reminiscing for the older folk, learning for the young.
My 5 year old son and I went to the Superhero Day. Christopher loved riding on the steam train and getting his photo taken with Spider-Man,Spider Girl and Captain America We even had Superhero training out at Inch Abbey to help the heroes stop Red Skull from taking over the train!! Loads of family fun and all of the staff are lovely,they are all volunteers who are doing a fabulous job We will definitely be back again!!
