I first heard about Dr kalyan through Aviva Healthcare who recommended him to me as there preferred spinal surgeon in the northeast of England. I had been unfortunately let down by the NHS and had my operation cancelled. I spoke to his practice manager and I was able to see him within two days. I was at the time on numerous pain medications and was told by the NHS that I had sciatica. I had a scan when I was taken into Darlington hospital witch Dr Kalyan was able to view. The scan showed that I had a prolapsed disc causing the acute pain, so I needed an operation asap. He was able to admit me the following week for a Discoptomy. After the operation and recovery time. And following Dr kalyans explicit aftercare instructions for my rehabilitation, the pain had reduced by 80% allowing me to reduce my pain relief drastically. After 12 weeks I was taking short walks without crutches and was able to drive again. Apart from medication to help me sleep I was taking no pain medication. After 5 months I have been able to return to work on a part time basis with light duties. In short I feel very grateful to Dr kalyan. I feel Dr kalyan has given me my life back. I understand after seeing him for my consultation that it will be a long recovery but I am extremely grateful to him and his team for everything they have done for me.
