Dr Segal operated on my atrial flutter with an ablation in July 2020. He took great care to explain clearly what was wrong with me, what the operation would comprise and what I could expect during the recovery period. I was weak and breathless before the operation, but within a week I had my energy back and could think clearly. I had no pain after the ablation. The tiny wound at my groin healed completely within 24 hours. My throat was a little sore initially but ordinary throat sweets fixed that in 24 hours, too. I am so grateful to Dr Segal and wish I had had the ablation some time ago.

Dr Segal is a highly professional practitioner in cardiology with a reassuring and friendly bedside manner. As a patient I always felt at ease and confident in his abilities. in 2019 I had two ablation procedures performed by Dr Segal and after many years on strong medication – due to long term AF – I am now medication free and my AF has gone. I have no hesitation in giving him a 5 star rating.

Dr Segal carried out an ablation on me in September 2019. In fact, it was my third ablation over the last 16 years. I can safely say, in February 2020, that I am now well. And it is extraordinary. I do not feel as if I am walking through mud. My mind is clear, and my energy levels are beyond what is expected for a person of my years on this planet. I am so grateful for Dr Segal's obvious expertise, but equally for his care and kindness. And that goes for his whole team! I cannot recommend him highly enough. Dear Dr Segal, As you know, needing a pacemaker 9 years ago was an extremely sudden and traumatic event for me. After suffering many years of ill health, not finding answers to my health issues and culminating 4 years ago in being diagnosed coeliac (& Hashimoto in 2007), it has been a though journey. I have as a result understood the limitations of western medicine in mostly seeing a patient as a collection of separate body parts unconnected to mind and spirit. But I also have the capacity to admire, respect and be grateful for the incredible advances in modern medicine and your talent, skill and dedication. In times like this I wouldn’t want a naturopath operating on me! So thank you very much indeed, I felt very safe in your hands and I’m one lucky lady to be under your care.
