An amazing place that I spotted on my journey that I was able to pull over and walk back to. I was privileged to meet a Biker couple who knew the sculpter who told me a bit about him and his work. Not saying anymore as you need to visit to feel it.
Very interesting information boards with a monument to the fallen made from what seems to be boiler plate cut into shapes of the fallen airmen. Reading all the names is a moving experience.
A place to remember the fallen. We will never forget the bravery of the men and women who sacrificed all so we would live in freedom.
