Food great, separate eating room from bar which is old worldly. Best chunky chips and Cod in batter ever!!!
We started here, wifey & I, on our pub crawl along Epping high St. Wifey had a double gin & lemonade & I had a Coors light as they didn't have a real ale. The round of drinks was 11.40 which is about the going rate. The whole pub could do with the inside being decorated as it is very old & run down. The locals didn't seem to mind as they were coming & going around 17:30 & enjoying themselves!!
Superb meal. Great value for money and friendly service.
