Dennis came out to look at a grandfather clock that had been in an unfortunate accident. Dennis responded immediately by visiting the house to ascertain the damage. He fixed all the inner workings and teeth that had been broken in the accident. We were impressed by the extent of his knowledge and his passion for clocks. Dennis has now offered to help us find a buyer for our clock. We have been extremely grateful for his services and professional advice.

Fantastic experience. My mum was looking get an old Seiko watch repaired that was precious to my dad and had been looking around for a repair. After being quoted 60 at Gems and being told it was a complicated repair she stopped at the Old Clock Shop for a 2nd opinion. Not only was the watch fixed within minutes by the owner who she said was v helpful and knowledgeable but the owner refused to take payment. This interaction was fantastic and my mum could not stop saying how much it made her day. I wish more places treated people this way.

The dial of my Victorian wall badly needed restoring as the paint and numerals were flaking off. I explained that I wanted the paint stripping off, repainting a cream/ivory colour to look aged and the numerals hand painted. I was told that it could be done and given a price which I accepted. I went to collect it when told it was ready. The paint hadn't been stripped off or even sanded smooth and was unevenly painted a brilliant white, I could see the old black of the dial still showing in places. A smaller paper dial had been stuck on over the old dial. Frankly it was an utter mess. I would have had more respect for the man if he had admitted that he couldn't do it. In the event he's wasted my time and I now have to pay to have his work removed before the dial can be restored properly. I have to give this review a minimum of one star before it can be posted. It doesn't warrant that.
Fixed my Atmos clock and my mantel, grandfather clock. Great service collected them. Delivered and set them up when fixed. Very happy I highly recommend.
Said he would contact when clock was ready, which he never. After a month I went back in, he overcharged and followed none of the Covid procedures. Con man.
