It was very interesting, lots of history and was interesting to see all the machinery and how the material was made.
Went with my family for my birthday and we all had an amazing day with so much to see and do! Everyone enjoyed it and learned a lot. The medical area upstairs was the most fun I have had in ages! 10/10. Have been recommending to everyone
Great place to take the kids. Very educational and the staff are very friendly and also knowledgeable and helpful. Had a fun afternoon there
We have annual memberships for The Science centre so can take our children as often as we like. The memberships are great value for money, my three children love a trip there whether it’s for 30 minutes or three hours. My daughter had her 7th birthday party there yesterday and it was so easy! We paid a deposit of 50% of ten holders when we booked it then just paid the remaining balance of however many children turned up on the day - so sensible to not have to pay the balance up front when some parents don’t reply to party invitations! The staff were wonderful with the children, the party bags were provided and full of plenty great wee toys. The food was good quality party food with just the right mixture of treats and actual food. There was plenty of food and juice for everyone there (we had 15 children). I expected the experiments to be more hands on but the children all seemed to enjoy it very much. I would have liked the pots of slime to be labelled so each child took home their own slime, that was a bit disappointing as my daughter take home slime was pretty gloopy where the one she made was much better. Over all a brilliant place for a party.
Kids loved climbing through the face structure they had there. Kinda gave me the heeby jeebys.
Revisited after a few years. Lots of great new stuff. Medical displays were fascinating. James gave great demonstrations of forensicsand anatomy.
Spent about 4 hours here today with a 2 year old and 4 year old. Loads of hands-on activities to keep them interested and happy, and I learned things too. It'll still be great when the kids are older too. Staff helpful and friendly. Excellent day out.
