I dealt with Scott Gray at BMW Tayside, the service he provided went above and beyond what was expected! He is a true asset to the company he works for, and also provided excellent after care service. When my car was delivered, the delivery driver told me me I should collect it from the neighbouring road as my road had trees that could scratch it high up on the delivery truck, I am grateful that he cared. I would highly recommend using BMW Tayside.

If your buying a used car beware. Check every thing promised regarding car is done, before handing over any money as once you have they are very unwilling to help. And tell you “you have bought a used car and a noise replicating a faulty wheel bearing is normal is fine.” 844 down after having too shell out for two tyres. See below report from independent bmw dealer.

AVOID! Appalling service, my car simply didn’t turn up on the day I’d paid for it to be delivered on. I had to call them to find out what was going on, to be told they had no idea where my car was or when it was being delivered, and refused to find out, as it “was past 5 o clock”! This meant I had to waste half a days holiday (yet still work), so that I could be at home for when they eventually delivered it. When they did deliver, I had to walk 1km from my house to meet the driver, where there was no questions, name checks or any form of ID asked for, they simply assumed I was the right person and handed me a set of car keys!! Was told they’d put a ‘package’ together for me, to compensate for their damage, which after FOUR WEEKS of stalling and empty promises, has turned out to nothing more than a cheap cleaning kit! And even this hasn’t arrived! They will make promise after promise and as soon as you’ve paid, not deliver on a single one. Overall, the worst service I’ve ever seen from a dealership. My advice... AVOID!

Shocking service. We order our car on the 12th of February to be told by the salesman Glen that everything was all approved and ordered. 6 weeks later we find out that the deal/car we ordered was not ordered at all and we could no longer get that deal. We went to BMW direct as after several calls to the Dundee depot we had no response after emails, calls and a visit to the showroom. As of today the 20th of April after several emails to BMW direct the sales manager decided to give us a call to see what was going on (9 weeks later from order). He said he was upset that we never gave him the chance to rectify it? Really?? We bought new Mercedes from the dealership across the road from them so there loss and i can happily say we will never order a car from the John Clark group ever again.

Car went in for a recall and did not receive any info about the “health check” which is apparently done when your car goes in. Car was supposed to be finished same day to then find out they required the car longer, even though they knew the car was coming in 5 weeks prior. Car also looked like it had been washed with a brick and only the front had been valeted? half arsed job. Also the courtesy car which was provided was a bit of a mystery, 2L 7 seater? was expecting something smaller due to the car i own & my age. But hey ho least i know what it’s like to drive a bus now!

Took my car into BMW in July 2020 after buying it from another garage to fix a faulty passenger window (not slotting into the frame when opening and closing). The issue was resolved however, later in the year it started occurring again. When I booked it in for January Lynsey very rudely asked me 'why I am only bringing the car in now'. I work front of house in a salon and would never ever treat my clients like this. I was left with no knowledge about what was happening with my car from Friday to Monday (I had to phone up and ask). I was then made to pay 75 of the 300 warranty bill which I explained my car was in previously for the same issue so how do I need to pay when it could have been rectified the first time. I was then told it was my fault the passenger window had broken as I had opened it when it was frozen.. even though I only drive to work everyday and have no passengers in the car especially not now due to COVID etc. I then asked to have an invoice emailed to me, this took over a week and me phoning three times to request one. Whilst I was on hold the sales team put me through to another customer who was also waiting for someone to talk to. Just all round shambles to be honest.. was left feeling stupid and just a nuisance to have as a customer.

One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had from a dealership. Salesman concerned was Glenn MacIntosh. This dealership simply doesn’t care about after sales service. Don’t deliver on their promises or respond to emails. Should have realised when placing the order in which I wasn’t even informed the car had been ordered. I had to chase this with several emails/calls to be eventually told it had been. Bought a brand new car in October 2020 and still a number of issues remain unresolved. Avoid this dealership at all costs.
