The will and estates services of Nick Barclay and Rachel Anderson was something out of a comedy movie. Fell massively short of my expectations and having spent a substantial amount with them in fees i was left very disappointed. I would say better and much cheaper alternatives can be found in Dundee

Initial appraisal and correspondence was very efficient and prompt. Good quality schedules and excellent communication - mail, post and phone call. Property sold very quickly and staff were very helpful. Only issue was slight delay in advising me of an offer and of confirming acceptance to client, but this may have been due to my regular contact being off that day. Would use again as long as prices remain competitive and take into consideration new online companies selling at reduced rates.

I was buying a house that I had been renting in. It was important for me to conclude the deal before the current tenancy runs out. Also my case was a bit complicated as I am not a UK national and also claiming bonus from Help-to-Buy ISA. Claire Morris at Thorntons was excellent throughout the whole journey. She was quick to understand my specific requirements, and showed true dedication to meet them. The deal was made in just over three weeks in time for the end of the tenancy, and Claire gave timely updates almost daily through emails, which was my preferred way of communication.
