Parked here considerately, blocking no vehicles. Observed and complied with all signage. As a driver with a blue badge, I am always extra courteous. Enjoyed a short walk, beautiful views across the loch, exchanged polite and friendly greetings with other walkers, cyclists and people enjoying fishing. Returned to our vehicle after a short walk of approximately 25minutes and observed a cardboard, makeshift notice attached to the tape beside our vehicle. Neither of us had noticed this cardboard sign before we left our car, and, dye to my mobility issues, we are fairly slow in setting off on a short walk. As we read the scribbled note instructing us not to park here in future, we were approached by an angry, unpleasant male, elderly, who came rather to close to us to berate us for having parked. Spouted off that we'd cost him 60 for a failed delivery as van could not pass through the space. Puzzled. There was space for a wide vehicle to pass without difficulty. We are mild mannered people who respect others and observe notices. This male had presumably come from the stables. Indeed the vehicle which observed us parking was actually parked at the stables when we passed a minute or so after leaving our car. No comment was made to us about us blocking anything. Think this male is possibly just a little bitter that ordinary folks can share, for a short time, the wonderful views and tranquility he may take for granted. Maybe a wee thought by him about what others may be dealing with would be a good way for him to let go of his anger and resentment.

I moved my horse here initially, short term, as she required box rest & rehab, which I was struggling to do working full time. Yard is very well run & kept. Although a big yard, it is very quiet. Everyone just gets on with enjoying there horse. Jill & her family are extremely knowledgeable & I have no concerns whatsoever about my horses well being. I decide to stay after rehab, nearly a year down the line now, and it was a very wise move.

If I could I’d stay in one of these stables and be pampered and cared for along with my horse I would!! Lol Working away from home I need a 5 star, reliable and caring yard for my horse and that’s what you get here. Marley (my horse) is treated and loved like one of their own. A family run yard with a relaxed atmosphere and a wealth of knowledge and experience on hand. I have been on a few yards and wish I had found this place years ago.
