After viewing a Mazda CX-5 online at Saltmarine advertised as having full service history, I rang and arranged a viewing and test drive. I travelled from Belfast which took me around 45 minutes. I viewed the car and took a test drive and liked the car. I agreed a trade in price for my car and before paying a deposit I asked for a copy of the service history. I was unhappy when I saw that the car did not have a full history as advertised. There was 29,000 miles between one of the service intervals and nearly 21,000 miles between the last service and the one carried out by Saltmarine pre sale. I explained that I was not happy and felt I had been misled about the service history and the possible negative effect non regular oil changes could have on the dpf etc, I was advised that I was worrying too much. I expected a lot more from a Mazda dealer who are quite aware that the proper service interval should be 12500 miles or 12 months. Complete waste of 3 hours of my time.
