Had a lovely tasting this morning with Joanna. Fantastic service and all COVID guidelines in place. Would definitely recommend as part of the NC500 Route. Lovely shop and gardens, make sure you try the coffee vodka! Would recommend booking ahead as we were lucky to get the last slot on one of the morning tastings.

In 22yrs of teaching pupils to drive I'm in need of a calming down moment. A Gentleman's measure of Navy Strength Rock Rose with ice has worked it's magic on me. I'm holding the empty glass and letting the stress wash away. Thanks for helping me become calm and relaxed

Had a tasting session with Joanna this morning and she is absolutely brilliant. Great storyteller and loads of information on all aspects of gin distilling. Bought the Navy strength gin and would recommend this tour to anyone doing the NC500 or just passing through.

Fantastic covid precautions. Interesting talk on how gin is made, the history of the distillery and some local myths and legends thrown in for good colour. I’m not a gin drinker, but my wife left very happy!

One of the single most informative distillery/brewery/whatever tours I’ve taken in a long time. The passion for gin, the history, the provenance, the science. Each is explained in ways that ensures you leave with a thorough knowledge of why gin, especially small-batch like their Rock Rose, is so important. The explanation of the varietals, the herbs, the infusions as well as taking you through a “smell” test all lends credibility to the work being done. For 15, the tour is worth it (and you even get a small gin/tonic takeaway bag at the end).
