I really coming to the park for a run or a cycle on a sunny day. Dunsapie Loch is a particularly nice spot to take a picture of. I find it stunning that you can see the small lake and the sea behind it as it they were on the same level.

Great place to park (for free) if you're time constrained but still want to climb Arthur's Seat. Not a huge car park (maybe 30 bays), so I'd expect it to get busy on the weekends and in summer. The path from this carpark starts out reasonably steep, before it joins up with the more popular route (that began near the Palace of Holyroodhouse) about 2/3 of the way to the top. A person of average fitness could make the climb from here in about 15 minutes.
From here is the easiest way to get on the top of Arthur’s Seat!
Great place to stop half way up arthur's seat for those who can't walk as far.
Don't let the 'car park' in the title deceive you, this spot is a hidden gem with stunning views!!
One of my favourite ️
Beautiful spot. Great views of East Edinburgh
Love the place ... so beautiful and great to park and walk BUT seriously spoiled by selfish people using the car park for shopping, but moreso getting a bus to work and leaving their car all day ... so spaces non-existent!!!
