Having spent 2 weeks trying to find a solicitor for a quick signing job who wasn't either working from home or wanting to charge me ridiculous amounts, these guys stepped up. I'm so grateful they took a sensible approach during this pandemic.

Terrible ... My grandmother past away, over 2 years ago now, we received our inheritance and due to a mishap... not all monies were given. At the beginning of the year. we were advised of this. The cheque was sent to the wrong address even though it I had sent proof of address to them. Again it has been over a month and I was advised that the new cheque would be sent by the end of the week. Here we are over 2 months later and still waiting. When I called to find out what is going on I not only get a very rude person on the phone but she decides it upon herself to put me on hands free without my permission. I requested not to be placed on hands free as I was uncomfortable with this and she did it again advising me that there is only another person in the room to actually listen to my call. When I asked to speak to a manager I was advised there wasn't one. What about privacy!!!!! Unprofessional and terrible
We have known of Morton Solicitors for some years. We used them for commercial guidance a few years ago and David Morton was a great help in our enquiry. More recently we used them for some conveyancing work. Martin Chater, the partner was extremely key in our decisions on a property matter. I have found the staff to be very helpful and friendly.
Proffesional and reliable service. Staff understanding, friendly and approachable. Will certainly use their services again, should the need arise.
