Had an appointment for a CT at 7pm they phoned asked if I could come at 3pm instead which is fine but yet I was made to sit in the waiting room for almost an hour..

I went to Belmont the taxi fare is expensive from Stanley and when Sunderland and Durham emalgamated I was told no extra expense would occur it costed more its ridiculous all lies anyway had my treatment nurses doctors great but no drinks or a sandwich for a patient fortunetly I took my own food and a drink but no where to eat it I am an insulin dependant diabetic and there is no cafe to sit in I ate them outside nobody to help you when you go to desk N I went to the day unit at Durham for this procedure the nurses were on hand to make sure I was OK and made sure I had a drink and food.I wouldn't go back here. Very clinical and no help at all

My husband has used this centre recently and we have both been very impressed with service given. Excellent staff who are thankfully very knowledgeable in their field with great facilities and prompt diagnosis and appointments. What I would say is if you get a phone call asking you to go in for an appointment the next day, don't necessarily think it's bad news, they just want to get you seen as soon as possible. Mercifully that was the case with hubby
